Weekly Message from our Pastor, Fr. Michael Ronayne
Palm Sunday is always one of the most popular Sundays of the year. It's the start of Holy Week, the start of Spring Break for many students, and many enjoy taking fresh, blessed palms to put in their homes. On Palm Sunday we also listen to the Passion narratives. Note how the multitudes accompanied Jesus in His triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Those days were like Spring Break for people in that time. When Jesus faced His passion, however, all but a few brave souls abandoned Him. Whether in the midst of our Spring Break or our regular routine, let us make time to accompany Jesus as we celebrate His Passion on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday. Then, let us celebrate with Lord's victory with Him on Easter Sunday. Check our bulletin, webpage, or Flocknote for our schedule of services. May the Lord bless you and your family with a grace and peace filled Holy Week. Fr. Mike Ronayne |
